Hi, computers and programs never stop to surprose me.... I work with Reaper 6 and Kontakt 6. Never had any problems but ....... since a week Kontakt is not producing any sound in Reaper. When I press a key on the virtual keyboard ( or on my Midikeyboard) Kontact receives the midi ( all meters go up and down...) but not in Reaper. No meters, no sound....complete silence so. Now I did try making a Kontakt template and some Reaper routing so I guessed that would be the problem. Removed both Reaper and Kontact from my computer and installed them again. Same problem. Now what I never noticed before is the FX widow is now "floating" and Kontakt is "bridged"....... Btw, If I open Kontact without Reaper....no problem at all..... Please help me out because having a lot of instruments and no sound is very frustrating......
First thing to do is look at the outputs in Kontakt and check which audio outputs it is using (if any). If it is running bridged, perhaps you using a 32 bit version, instead of 64 (not sure if there is a 32 bit Kontakt 6 though)?

Bridging problem solved, thanks. As for the output. When I start Kontact without Reaper I have ( in the settings) the audio "button" ( so, Interface, engine etc.etc. ) which is on Asio but....when I use Kontact in REaper the Audio ( and Midi ) button are "gone".......so I can't check that...
I'm talking about the outputs mixer in Kontakt, as shown in this picture: If you are wanting a single stereo output from the same track as Kontakt, you want st.1 to output on channels 1/2.
